2nd Grade Assembly: Life on the Frontier
On Thursday, October 12th, 2nd grade attended a presentation about Life on the Frontier. They learned the story of Teresa and her sons, Danny and Eli, as they traveled to Texas from England. Students learned about natural resources and the water cycle. Settlers needed to choose their homestead based on the nearby resources and water sources. A few students even got to experience what Life on the Frontier was like by grinding corn, carrying water, and seeing how a water pump worked.

Katy ISD Offers Love and Logic Parenting Classes
Love and Logic Parenting Classes are being offered at multiple campuses during the 2017-2018 school year. http://www.katyisd.org/dept/prolearn/Pages/Love-and-Logic.aspx
Arrival To School
We ask that students arrive to campus between 8:00 a.m. and 8:20 a.m. Because there is no adult supervision before 8:00 a.m. students may not arrive before that time. The morning car rider drop off is one lane, please do not go around cars in front of you to drop off. If you need to come into the building during arrival please use the crosswalk where a staff member will stop traffic for you to safely cross with your child. Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we work together to ensure the safety of our Dragons.
