Raymond Park
Ranger News, week of September 16, 2019
From the Principal
Ranger Patrons,
Parent conferences are scheduled to occur on Tuesday, October 1. Students will not have school on that day, but should plan on attending conferences with a parent or guardian. RP will begin the conference scheduling process this week with conference letters and information being sent home with students this Thursday.
The week of September 23 promises to be filled with excitement! Academically, the week has been designated as "College Go Week." Students will be participating in a number of college-related learning activities as we try to inspire our Rangers to consider all of their post-graduation options.
The week of September 23 has also been designated as MSD Warren Township "Pink Week." District-wide, athletes will be wearing special pink jerseys or accessories to show their support and bring attention to the fight against cancer. RP will have 100 pinks shirts that will go on sale late this week in the bookstore for $15. All proceeds will be added to WCHS's cancer donation.
Finally, Wednesday, September 25 has been designated as "Game Night" for our 5-8 Rangers. $5 will allow student to stay after school, eat pizza and be admitted to both home volleyball and football games to cheer the Rangers to victory. Students that sold 2 or more items in PTSA fundraiser will have this $5 admission fee waived.

Principal
Please see the message below, sent on behalf of Dr. Hanson:
This fall, MSD of Warren Township will be creating a comprehensive strategic plan based on community input that will ensure all students and staff have the conditions necessary to develop and apply Journey of a Graduate (JoG) skills and dispositions. The Journey of a Graduate skills are a set of 6 skills and dispositions that have been identified by our community needed for success in and out of school. The JoG skills are Critical Thinking, Citizenship, Communication, Collaboration, Content Knowledge, and Resilience. These JoG skills will serve as the foundation of the district strategic plan.
One way the district will capture community input is through an online survey. Linked below is a short survey that will ask questions around our strengths as a district and help us identify areas for improvement.
