APP OF THE WEEK! THIS WEEK'S FEATURE IS: GMAIL! Pre SCHEDULING YOUR GMAIL THAT IS!!

You’re checking out your emails and want to respond but realize it’s after hours. You don’t want people to know you’re working off the clock but you don’t want to forget! Schedule your email! Gmail has a great feature that allows you to schedule an email to be sent at a later time.

TECHNOLOGY SURVEY

Thank you to all that completed the survey! The information we gather from this survey helps us see how much we’ve grown as a campus over the year and will help guide our decisions in Instructional Technology going into the next school year.

**Update your Challenge Questions**

Required: Please update your challenge questions! Even if you've done this in years past, you need to do it again because the system was reset. Attached below is a video on how to do this. This is important so you can reset your password at Aldine Cloud in case it is ever forgotten, like over the summer *wink wink*.

  • Go to https://cloud.aldineisd.org

  • Go to AISD Apps on the bottom

  • Click on Access Request Management System

  • Log in again

  • At this point, the challenge questions should automatically pop up.

**ATTENTION: ACTION REQUIRED FROM EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBER! YES EVERY STAFF MEMBER**

ALL Computers will be reimaged and updated this summer, you WILL be losing any material saved to your computer. If you want to keep your work you will need to either back up your work to Google Drive or to your U: Drive/Aldine Cloud.

And if you will be parting ways with Aldine, you will need to save everything to your personal google drive, Google Takeout is your answer. Here is how to use Google Takeout. Click the links below or the items underlined to learn how to do this.

**ALL STAFF MEMBERS PLEASE NOTE!!!!**

Once your computers have been reminaged for the new year. All previous files will be gone. Your digital learning specialists, technology services, and/or the helpdesk will NOT be able to help retrieve your previous files.

Again, ALL staff members will need to begin the process of backing up your files.

If you are a person that really feels the need to back up your devices to an external drive, I do understand. HOWEVER, I HIGHLY recommend you back up your files in Google and/or the U drive. If you have a lot of files, you can purchase an external hard drive with a size of 1 or 2 terabytes. You can find these at Walmart, Target or Best Buy, etc. I have placed and hyperlinked pictures of where to find these.
