April is National Poetry Month!
We are reading and writing poems in the library this month. Poetry engages all of the senses and is a wonderful way to explore new ideas and familiar experiences. The Academy of American Poets has some wonderful resources for students and parents. The City of San Antonio Department of Arts and Culture is another online site with lots of local events and resources. Click on the links below to learn more!
Join us Thursday, February 15 from 6:00-7:00 for our Greenback Night fundraiser!
Thank you Northwood Community!
Our annual holiday book fair was a huge success! Thank you for sharing the gift of books with so many of our students and teachers. Your purchases also allow us to continue to support our library events and access to resources.
We are wishing you and your family a wonderful holiday!

Library Resources at Home Through Launchpad
Capstone and Sora are two reading resources that families have access to through their child's NEISD Launchpad. All you need is your child's username and password, which you can get from their teacher. Once you log in and get to your child's Launchpad you will automatically be signed in to every app that appears on the screen. Look in the Library Resources folder for Capstone and Sora. You may have to scroll down a bit get to Sora. Feel free to explore other resources as well!
Attention Fourth Graders! Here are your Battle of the Books titles!
Happy Reading Everyone!
