CINCO DE MAYO PARTY TO BENEFIT WAMOGO STUDENTS
"This summer, a group of Wamogo High School students will be going to Mexico through Operation Wallacea, a British organization that runs scientific research trips for teens around the world. The first week of the trip they will be spent exploring the Silva Maya on the Yucatan Peninsula, with an emphasis on studying wildlife biodiversity. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to scuba dive while in Akumal, where they will collect data on sea turtle migrations. Proceeds from the Cinco de Mayo dinner will help the group cover the costs of this amazing trip!
Summerfest - Camp for students in grades 2-8
Wamogo High School is pleased to announce that for the upcoming summer of 2017, we are running our very own summer program: Summerfest.
This is a 6 week long camp-style program that is 4 days a week (Monday - Thursday) from 9am - 2pm, and runs from June 26th - August 3rd. Sessions are split into 2 week increments and you may sign your child up for multiple sessions if you so choose. Summerfest is open to all Region 6 students of all ability levels in grades 2 - 8. The cost is $75 per week per child with transportation available from central locations for participants. July 5-7 is a shortened week and costs $50.
Summerfest features tons of fun, daily activities led by a team of peer leaders, which include: outdoor sports, classic camp games, arts and crafts, music and drama, water carnivals, cooking, gardening, STEM, dance, team building games, and much more.

BOX TOPS
Good Morning!
Please continue to clip Box Tops off your favorite products! Ten cents doesn't sound like much but they add up fast and help the PTO provide Enrichment opportunities for GCS students. If possible, ask other family members, co-workers and neighbors to collect them as well. This is a quick reminder that at the end of each month the classroom that has collected the most Box Topsgets a prize. See the below attachment for a list of products that have Box Tops on their labels.
A big thank you to our BTFE coordinators, Heike Robillard and Chrissy Steward.
Thank you!
