Stay Safer At Home Sierra Vista Students and Families!

Thanks to our outstanding students and their families for all your dedication, hard work, and effort displayed for your learning. We want everyone to SUCCEED! We really miss our students and our families. We are proud of each of you and care so much about you! We want you to stay safe, healthy, and at home! Together we can work to overcome the current situation and soon we will be all back together again!

Students should be connecting with each of their six teachers twice a week via Google Classroom, Virtual Classes, and/or assignments. Students can email teachers with any assignments or questions they may have. Teachers are tracking to ensure that every student completes work/check in with them every week. Please be sure that students stay connected.

Please see the attached district-wide schedule to ensure they are meeting with their teachers.

Please remember: TEACHERS, COUNSELORS, ADMINISTRATION MAY BE REACHING OUT TO YOU VIA CELL PHONE/HOME PHONE IF THEY ARE HAVING TROUBLE CONNECTING WITH YOUR STUDENT. IF YOU NOTICE A BLOCKED NUMBER, THAT COULD BE ONE OF US TRYING TO CALL YOU. PLEASE CHECK YOUR VOICEMAILS!

Our district is following guidance from the Los Angeles County Office of Education.

They are currently recommending that school campuses be closed through the end of the 2019/2020 school year. Distance learning will continue for our SV students through June 4, 2020.

Thanks for all you do! We miss you!

Here's A Way To Motivate Your Students With Their Academic Learning?

Burger King is holding QUESTION OF THE DAY? to encourage learning between April 13th and April 20th! Each day they post new academic questions that relates to a content area (e.g. math, science, history, English). Students that find the answer can take that answer to any Burger King location and get a FREE WHOPPER with any purchase! Students under 18 need parent permission to play. Students simply download the BK app, come up with the solution and then get a promo code to redeem their free Whopper.

Sierra Vista's Campus is CLOSED and LOCKED! Please continue to communicate with your students that the campus is off limits. We kindly ask that no one comes on campus for any reason. This includes using the basketball courts and fields. If your student enjoys skateboarding, please ask them NOT to climb over/under fences and come on campus to skateboard. It is unsafe for our students to be here unattendend and we don't want to see anyone getting hurt.
