Testing Reminders - VERY IMPORTANT
On state testing days, it’s important that all certified staff arrive by 8am to get your testing materials from the conference room. Please remember all testing materials must be in a secure location, so take care of any “errands” before picking up materials. We are testing in core one classes.
Other notes for testing:
- If online testing, please login to all computers before students arrive to classroom.
- Students should use the restroom before testing begins. We should not promote restroom breaks.
- If students read after finishing testing, be sure to take up test booklet before they are given their fun reading material.
- NCFEs should finish by 12. EOGs by 1pm.
- When your class is done with testing, please call the front desk, and a hall monitor will be sent to cover your class so you can turn in all testing materials into the conference room.
From Testing and Accountability
Please have staff make sure laptops are successfully charging each evening before testing. In addition, remind students/staff to turn off all personal devices (cell phones, iPads, etc…). There should not be an issue connecting to wireless. We will be blocking a lot of social streaming during this time to assist with bandwidth. Please make sure computers are shutdown properly after testing has been completed each day. This should be done by using the onscreen shutdown button and not by holding down the power button.
Scheduling Process
PLC Feedback Form
We believe that teacher voice is very important in the curriculum review process. Because we cannot have every teacher on a curriculum writing team, our curriculum writers depend on the feedback of all teachers to make sure that any changes made to the curriculum documents are representative. Please remind teachers to complete these feedback forms before the end of the year. The feedback forms are linked on the C&I webpage under the curriculum document table and can be found here:
