Capturing The Moment...
Parents & Guardians:
I can’t believe that we have already navigated through the first month of school. By now all of our students have settled in and they are finding their groove. As we enter into October, we will be monitoring all students closely to ensure they can be successful academically, emotionally and behaviorally. As always, please let us know immediately if something isn’t right; this way we can be proactive in all areas. Term #1 is hitting the halfway point, which means that you will be able to see your child’s early progress. To this end, the Parent Portal will be opened next Thursday at noon. If you have any concerns regarding your child’s progress, please reach out to their respective teachers, guidance counselor or administration.
Wishing everyone a great weekend.

Community Connections Project
It’s that time of year again when we take on the initiative of helping out others. Our annual Donation & Food Drive will take place from Monday, October 1st – Friday, October 26th.
This year we are attempting to raise enough money to feed families in need and/or collect enough non-perishable food items to do the same. The goals are to fill my office with as many non-perishable food items as possible and collect enough money to purchase food through a special program for families. I will work with my Leadership Team to meet these goals. If you want to donate money to help our cause, please make checks payable to: CHIP-In. We will have a donation tub in our main office and in the cafeteria for additional donations - every little bit helps. I will keep everyone updated as we move toward these goals.
Term #1 Progress Reports
On Thursday, October 4th Term #1 Progress Reports will be available in the Parent Portal by noon. If you need information pertaining to signing in to the Parent Portal, please contact Mrs. Andre at landre@dcrsd.org
