Debate - Coach Raugewitz-Blick
Juniors, Shai Nettles & Dakota Copeland competed at the Kansas Sunflower Novice State tournament this weekend, which is designed to provide a highly competitive post-season tournament experience for the top novice debaters in the state of Kansas. They debated 6 rounds, ending the weekend with a record of 3-3.
This tournament marks the end of our first Debate season, which Nettles & Copeland finish with a winning record. They have also earned Degrees of Merit from the National Speech & Debate Association, and are the recipients of the first annual EHS Debate Underdog Award.
Varsity Wrestling - Coach Andrews
This past Saturday the Cards entered into a last minute dual tournament in Louisburg. We went down not knowing what to expect with the competition as there were teams we don't usually see. We showed up nonetheless and the boys proceeded to dominate the competition in true Cardinal fashion. Drawing Piper in the first round was a good warmup for what the day had in store. The fellas and lady made short work of the Pirates with a score of 54-27 in a dual that lasted less than 20 minutes. Next up was Anderson County where the Cards would put on a dominating performance resulting in a 48-30 win. In match #3 twe defeated Leavenworth 54-21 landing themselves in the semi-finals where they would defeat Louisburg 45-36. The Cards would fall short of victory in the finals match against Turner falling to the Bears with a score of 36-42. Overall, this is the best performance the Cards have turned in this season. The Cards would crown three individual champions. Going undefeated for the day were Seniors Cael Lynch, Holden Andrews and Dakota Whitaker. The Cards next action will be this Thursday in the Cardinal Dome for Senior night where we will take on the Braves of Bonner Springs and the Dirty Dawgs of Baldwin City. Wish all of our Cardinal wrestlers luck as this will be one of the last times our seniors will compete on the mats in their gym. Best of luck to all my wrestlers this week. Wrestlers, The man at the top of the mountain didn't fall there...
GO CARDS!!!!!

Cardinals Care Fund
The Eudora Schools Foundation (ESF) and the Eudora Schools are pleased to announce our Cardinals Care Fund. Take a look at this announcement video: https://youtu.be/8e2hqUDJp_I
The ESF's Cardinals Care Fund was created to meet the urgent, immediate, and basic necessities of Eudora students, to ensure that the student's physical, social and emotional needs do not stand in the way of their success in school. This program helps fill needs unmet by any other source. If you or you know of someone that has a need, please reach out to your student's school.
ESF administers financial assistance for emergency needs such as food, clothing, medical, transportation, utility, and housing. Of course, some requests are unique and fall into no specific category. Please note, this is an emergency fund and money is limited.
Streamed games - Ms Kimberlin
Cardinal Nation:
EHS has joined the NFHS (National Federation of High Schools) Network and installed new video technology at Eudora District Stadium and in the EHS Gym that will offer you the opportunity to subscribe so that you can watch all of our events at home. By subscribing you also have access to games at any school EHS plays that have the NFNS system; DeSoto and Piper are examples, as well as thousands of other schools across the country that are part of the NFHS. In these times of limited attendance, we strive to be able to offer all we can to our fans and students to be able to watch our events whether at home or on the road. Please go to NFHSnetwork.com and search for Eudora High School to see upcoming events your Cardinals are competing in. Thank you to all parents and spectators for your support and understanding during this year of unprecedented changes.
