Congratulations HFCS ALUMNI Athletes!
CONGRATULATIONS to our former Holy Family students who attend Nolan Catholic High School: Matthew Jones and Mandy McCans.
Matthew is a Junior and was named 1st Team All-District and Defensive Player of the Year.
Mandy is a Sophomore and in her second year on the school Varsity team.
A Message from our Principal
We continue our journey through the Lenten season. In yesterday’s Gospel from St. Luke, God revealed Jesus’ true nature to the apostles, Peter, John, and James. While the three apostles were with Jesus on the mountain, a cloud came over them and voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, my Chosen; listen to him!” It is our calling to listen to the words of Jesus and to follow his teachings.
The three pillars of Lent are: praying, fasting, and almsgiving. Each of us needs to pray more, and, pray at a consistent time of day. Whether we pray in the morning, on our lunch break, and on our knees before we go to bed, our prayers mean that we are talking with God and God speaks back---IF we are listening.
Please continue to encourage your children to collect spare change for the Catholic Relief Services Rice Bowl encounter. It’s a great was to give alms to the poor.
Peace in Christ,
Dr. John Shreve

Home and School Association Meeting UPDATE!
There will be an HSA meeting on Wednesday, March 27. Meeting time of 6:30 PM.
Just a reminder that this next meeting will be one with a lot of information specifically targeting Teacher Appreciation Week. This is the biggest event for the HSA and I'd like to go over ways to make it even better than last year.
Also, please begin asking your parents for any gift card donations they would be willing to help out with. We have roughly 6 weeks before we will be needing them with an additional week for final preparations.
As always, THANK YOU so much for all the time and effort you give to our school and our teachers and our children!!!
