Last week we..... Introduced Ancient Africa Kingdoms by learning about Mali, Ghana, and Songhai and doing an EdPuzzle, as well as learning about Mansa Musa and his pilgrimage to Mecca.


This week we will....


Monday and Tuesday- Discuss and introduce how economic trade of gold and salt impacted Ancient African kingdoms by having a short primary source, and doing an assignment in Schoology.


Wednesday and Thursday- Discuss and introduce how the spread of Islam impacted Ancient African kingdoms, and doing an interactive investigation in Discovery Education.


Friday- Check emails from teachers, make up any missing work from the week.

Learned about the elements of plot, difference between internal character & external driven plot, practiced new vocab, and did an iReady Reading lesson.

Tuesday 4/28: Finish plan and begin to re-write ending of "All Summer in a Day"

Wednesday 4/29: Continue to re-write ending of "All Summer in a Day"

Thursday 4/30: Finish re-writing ending to "All Summer in a Day"
