Technology Scoop

From your ITS, Michelle Haider

HP Folios

So happy to announce that all of my campuses have received their new teacher laptops! The process is still ongoing for us as we move to complete the rest of the district, but the end is in sight! Thanks so much for all your patience with me as we deploy the thousands of laptops to NEISD.
Active Directory, HP Folio, Windows 7, Software Center - are the terms floating around the district right now. For more information and How-To's on any of these items click here.

Speaking of software...remember, the only software you can install on your machine will come from the software center. The icon should be on your desktop/taskbar and when you click on it, follow the link that states Find Additional Applications from the Application Catalog. Is your software title not there? Check out this site to see if your software will become available or is not compatible with Windows 7.
