A special thank you to our families who joined us on November 2nd for our first Equity Meeting of the year. Mrs. Pannia, Equity Coach, facilitated our meeting where we discussed our year long plan and potential goals. We look forward to our next meeting on November 30th.

Parent-Teacher Conferences for the elementary schools will be held virtually during the afternoons on Friday, November 18, Monday, November 21 and Tuesday, November 22. These are half-days for the students with dismissal at 12:00 p.m.

You may sign up through the Genesis parent portal. Please log into your account to sign up for a conference date and time. If you have multiple students at Collins, you will have to access each of their schedules separately.

Do you know a classroom teacher or educational services provider who is dedicated, inspiring, and makes a difference? If so, please take the time to recommend this person for the Governor's Educator of the Year by completing this nomination form by November 17th.

Please consider someone who:

• Serves as an exceptionally skilled and dedicated educator in a public school

• Inspires students of all backgrounds and abilities to learn

• Demonstrates leadership and innovation in and outside the classroom

• Has the respect and admiration of students, parents, administrators and colleagues

• Plays an active role in the community as well as the school

Parents please make sure your children have all their items in the AM. This includes computers, lunches, snacks, instruments, folders, etc. The office has been a little too busy lately :)
