Winthrop Application FREE!


We have a big deadline coming up for our Office of Admissions: November 1! So, what happens if your student submits a completed application by Sunday? They will:

  • SAVE MONEY: Your students won't have to pay the application fee!
  • GET AN EARLY DECISION: Your students will get their decision on
    December 1, our first Decision Day!


After November 1, the application will cost $50 and students will be notified of their decision in February 2021. This is a great opportunity for your students! They can apply online at apply.winthrop.edu/apply.

Alpha Kappa Alpha #CAP

Applications are being accepted to participate in #CAP College Application Process. #CAP is a program to help students in 11th and 12th grade with the college admission process to you can apply, be admitted, and enroll in college successfully. Sweet Briar is honored to welcome NASA engineer Russell L. Werneth as we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Hubble Space Telescope!


Join us for a virtual lecture on the Hubble Space Telescope by Russell L. Werneth, NASA Goddard’s Educational and Public Outreach Engineer for the Hubble Space Telescope and Astrophysics.


Attendance is free, but advanced registration is required. Please register here by Monday, Nov. 9, 2020. A link to the livestream will be provided to guests after registration. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
