Halloween Information
Dear CCE Parents,
Unfortunately CCE will not be able to host our traditional Halloween parade this year. However, we invite your students to join us in celebrating Halloween on Friday, October 30th by either dressing up in their costume or Halloween spirit wear. If you choose to have your student wear their costume to school in the morning, it must be able to fit over their regular clothes. Students will not be sent to the bathroom to change out of costumes, so they will need to be able to easily take it off while they're in their classroom with their peers. If a student has a mask to wear with their costume, they will still need to wear a face covering underneath their mask. We are looking forward to trying to bring some normalcy to the day while also keeping everyone safe. Halloween activities will be classroom specific and you should be hearing from your child's teacher with more information regarding their plans soon. Teachers will be taking pictures so I can create a slideshow of all the grade levels for parents to view. Thank you for your understanding while we try to figure out new processes that celebrate students but also keep us safe.
Ms. Rahne

Dressing for the Weather
As the weather begins to get colder, we'd like to remind families to send your child with weather appropriate outdoor attire. Students will continue going outside for recess as long as the temperature and windchill are above 22 degrees. Please make sure they come dressed with a warm coat and additional appropriate attire when needed: hats, scarves, gloves, and snow boots -- so they can enjoy outside recess. Thank you!

Box Tops
The Box Tops for Education program is changing the way we can earn cash for our school by going digital! CCE earned $600 last year by collecting Box Tops and has brought in over $21,000 in lifetime earnings. Going forward, Box Tops will be earned digitally by scanning your receipt.
Steps:
- Go to the app store on your mobile device and download the new app.
- Create a sign-in and link it to COYOTE CREEK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
- Scan the receipt using the app within 14 days of purchase and the funds are automatically added to our school account.
Please continue to clip traditional Box Tops at home and send them to school. We will still earn cash for all clipped Box Tops until they expire. Better yet, we can "double dip" during the transition by clipping traditional Box Tops AND scanning your store receipt containing participating products.
Thanks for helping our school! Questions? Please contact CCE parent and Box Top Chairperson Amy Haines. Thanks!
