For iReady, our building goals are...50% in ELA & 40% in Math. We are close!! Please make sure to encourage your students to read everything, take their time, and think about what the question is asking them to do before answering.
So far we have most of our students showing growth! That’s awesome!!
After the iReady Diagnostic test:
Celebrate individual, class and building success
Track new score on student data page
All students need to have a form for tracking their progress on iReady. If you have a great form that you wouldn’t mind sharing, please send it to me and I will make a folder for everyone to access.
Looking for ideas?!
*Setting goals is a great opportunity to empower students to take ownership of their learning, promote a growth mindset, and improve academic achievement. The goal-setting process recognizes that each student is different and allows them to choose where they want to improve and what they want to achieve. It also encourages students to have a long-term vision of what they want to accomplish and the short-term motivation to keep them inspired to work hard along the way.

Pineapple Calendar~This quarter we will try something new...during one TWW we will go visit a colleagues classroom for 15 minutes and then come back together to debrief. We will look at classroom organization, student engagement, classroom management, etc. Depending on the time of day will determine what subject area we will observe. The goal is to get some ideas to take back to your classroom and to see how OUR students are being engaged in other classrooms. The pineapple magnet will still be moved from classroom to classroom each week for other observations if desired.
Come see me if you have any questions or concerns. Let me know how I can further support you and your students in your classroom.

The goal is to try to increase the amount of sleep you typically get and just notice some changes you could potentially implement to improve your sleep habits. One you have logged, please add what you learned and what you are doing to improve your sleep to the poster on the bulletin board in the teacher's lounge anonymously.
