Welcome to the Club
The Food and Fitness Club has been replaced by a new Cycle 3 after-school activity called the "Look at my Lunch Club". The aim of the activity is to introduce students to nutrition, cooking and choosing healthier options for lunch. The activity will help students explore, create, taste and experiment with a variety of fun recipes they can prepare with minimal adult support. We are hoping they will be inspired to show off their creations and talent with school mates and family.

Butternut Squash & Broccoli Lasagna
My team and I had disagreements along the way, but in the end, we all did an amazing job. When we started to read the instructions for the recipe, I thought that Butter Squash and Broccoli Lasagna was a really weird mixture. But it tasted really good even though it look unpleasing.

Apple Crisp
My group spent a lot of time cutting the apples. After all, it was delicious.
Roasted Red Pepper & Tomato Soup
My group made a mess in the kitchen. Although, a couple messes followed all the fun. We cut so many peppers and even forgot one. We were so disappointed that our soup didn't have taste. It was watery and was missing salt. But with that said, it still tasted like effort!

Farmer’s Market Pizza
The farmer's market pizza's core focus was on peppers and onions. Some people don't know how important the dough and cheese are and that is why I would change it a bit. Other than that, cooking was easy and quick. By Logan M
Black Forest Brownies with Goat Cheese
the black forest goat cheese brownies was really good and I like the goat cheese more than the cream because the cream was good but it was not that well cooked and the goat cheese was perfect. To make the goat cheese you need the chocolate mix and the goat cheese most importantly but for the other ingredients its eggs, chocolate chips ect. and for the cream cheese it the same thing but replace the goat cheese with the cream cheese.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
We liked mixing the wet ingredients and the dry ingredients together. We messed up just a little but Miss Philip helped us. Our favorite thing to do was to crack the egg in the bowl. We thought it was going to be easer but it ended up being harder. By Kelya Boucher
Split Pea Soup
The soup was very fun to make except for the onions. They all made us cry but it was fun cutting and chopping all the vegetables . The soup looks very good. The team had a bit of trouble but it turned out great . We worked very hard. Thank you Miss Philip and Miss Osborne for letting us do food and fitness. It has been a great experience. Veggie Egg Muffins
Making the Vege Egg Muffins was very fun to make. Sometime it was hard because we weren't talking to each other. The funny thing is that we have TOO much brocoli so we will have a side dish of brocoli. The Vege Egg Muffins looks very good. We work very hard. Minestrone Soup
I really liked making the soup because I had to chop vegetables and I really like to chop vegetables. I also really really enjoyed mixing the soup. I think that our group had trouble with the onions because it made 2 people cry (Me and Zackary). I think that we did really well with the soup. Although it was kind of hard, I think it was a success!

Veggie Nuggets with Dipping Sauce
Making the veggie nuggets was one of the hardest recipes. People were not reading the instructions and doing it their way. But, I'm pretty sure that it's going to taste great!
Mixed Berry Trifle
We made the trifle and it's a very easy recipe to make at home. The whipcream was nice, moist and fluffy! I loved the cake inside of it. The nice topping of fruit gave it a good taste and the textures that come with it!
