Established by Dominican Sisters in 1895, Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School is a diocesan, coeducational high school serving the Southeast Texas community. Calling all Incoming 9th Graders

We're excited for your incoming 9th grader to join us next year. The application process has begun! Follow the instructions below to complete the initial step of the process.

#1 Online Application

This can be accessed below. You can apply without having taken the High School Placement Test; however, you cannot be accepted until the test has been taken and scores have been reviewed.

  • Visit our webpage,

  • Select the green button labeled "Apply Now" on our homepage.

  • Create a PARENT account.

  • Complete your child's application and submit it online.

  • There is a non-refundable application fee of $50 for all new students.

#2 Transcript Record Release Form (TRR Form)

This document is attached to the submission email you will receive from me after sending in your application. Sign and deliver this form to your student's current school. The form requests his/her transcript, current schedule, grades, standardized testing, discipline, and attendance records that the current school can provide.

The application cannot be processed until the student's current school has returned this form to MKCHS.

Whoop! Full-ride to A&M

Congratulations to Senior, Jerard Bajar, on his full-ride scholarship to Texas A&M University through the Brown Foundation! This scholarship is the most prestigious scholarship offered to incoming freshmen at A&M, and only students who are President Endowed Scholars and National Merit Scholars are chosen to receive this scholarship each year.

Caleb Payne '15

Payne is currently a first year law student at Harvard Law School in Cambridge Massachusetts. During his time at Kelly, Caleb participated in basketball, debate and Mu Alpha Theta. At graduation, he was recognized as a Summa Cum Laude honor graduate. After graduating from Kelly High School, he went on to get his Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Morehouse College as the #1 ranked student in the School of Business Administration and Economics .
