Updates for April 16

  • We are pleased to announce that we have partnered with the Junior League of Anderson as part of our community service focus. MSA is a Gold Sponsor of their “Trucks on Main” event tomorrow. The proceeds from this event support Seats for Safety which provides car seats for those in need in Anderson County. See below for more information about the event.

  • Next Thursday 4/22 will be MSA’s Annual Meeting. Our accountant from Argo and Associates will present the Annual Financial Report. Board members and administration will also be present at this meeting in the Middle School room at 5:30 PM.

  • Don’t forget that the deadline to apply for tuition assistance for the 2021/2022 school year is May 15. Please email Amber Lockhart at alockhart@msasc.org if you need more information about the FAST process.

Just to make you aware, we have had some instances of a GI bug since returning from Spring Break. Please be sure to keep students home until they are symptom-free for 24 hours. We will also be monitoring students and staff closely next week for any signs of COVID-related symptoms post-Spring Break. We remain diligent in our efforts to mitigate risk within our community. (If you have any questions or concerns about possible COVID exposure or symptoms, please contact Nurse Merriman at schoolnurse@msasc.org before returning to school.)

Have a fabulous weekend!
