FUN IN THE INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL
Page Turners have a great year!
By Joan Ellison
The Chapter 2 Page Turners team (grades 6-8) ended the year with a second place finish in their division. They competed against teams from Wayland-Cohocton and Livonia.
The students read many books and retained an incredible amount of information to be able to answer some tough questions during the competition.
Congratulations to Keilani Baldwin, Taylor Wilkins, Madison Fleck, Jude Luther, Julia Wilkins, and our intermediate school members Lacey Guy and Kalista Omans!
Any students in grades 6-8 may join our Page Turner team next school year. All are welcome!
SPRING CONCERT
THE ROLLER SKATING PARTY
The roller skating party on May 23rd went great! Everyone had a wonderful time listening to music, eating snacks and roller skating. The 3rd graders even got to come down from the Dalton building and join the 4th - 8th graders for the fun!
CAREER LUNCHES
Our final 5th & 6th grade career lunches this spring included Mr. Jayson Richardson, KCS IT expert and officer Ross Gerace. Students learned about training and education requirements for these careers, as well as what they do on a daily basis. They got to see the inside of a computer with Mr. Richardson, and feel how heavy a sheriff's vest is.
