Principal's Message
Dear MPS families-
It is hard to believe that we are nearing the end of this school year. There have been many ups and downs, but what has been constant is our students desire to continue to learn and grow. With just under 4 weeks remaining, we are excited to "Finish Strong" and make the most of every minute we have left.
It has been exciting to have approximately 90% of our students back in person 4 days per week. The school has come alive even more, and it is so exciting! Students are learning and happy to be interacting in person and online with students who remain learning virtually.
Attendance continues to be an important factor in students progress and we encourage daily on-time attendance. However, if you child is feeling ill, please keep them home, these guidelines have not changed and should still be followed.
We have begun early stage planning for next school year even as we await some additional information and details. We have not begun to place students in classes for next year. While we welcome feedback you may have regarding the characteristics of the type of teacher that would be a good fit for your child, we are unable to accept requests for specific teachers. If you would like to share information regarding characteristics of the type of teacher you feel would be best for you child, you can email that information to me or Mrs. Borne.
We continue to thank you for your support as we work to "Finish Strong"!
Kindly,
Sandy Fox
Principal

Happy Retirement!
Thank you Mrs. Littrell!!
Mrs. Littrell wanted to share the following:
It is with mixed emotions that I share that I will be retiring at the end of this school year. Although I am excited for the adventures to come, I will be sad to be leaving a job that I love. To the Middletown community, thank you for the kindness and support you have shown me. To the teachers and staff at MPS, you are the most dedicated, talented and amazing people and I was honored to work with you. Each of you has touched my life in ways that not only made me a better teacher but a better person. To my team, which will always include JB and KB, when I count my blessings, I count you twice. Thank you for helping me through the good times and the bad. You are the best of the best and I will keep the memories, laughter and lessons in my heart forever.
