On Site Fishers Camps- Week 1

Every Day
Hello Families!! Every day please pack the following items:
- 2 Snacks
- 1 Lunch
- 1 Refillable Water Bottle
- Sunscreen
- Bug Spray
- Swim Suit (On Swim Days)
- Towel (On Swim Days)
- Extra Clothes in a Zip lock Bag (accidents happen, mud happens)
- Zip lock Bag for wet clothing
- Please label your campers belongings
- We encourage proper shoes for camp- close toed shoes such as tennis shoes
When does my camper swim?
Micro Mudsock Preschool (Ages 3-5) swims at the Splash Pad Tuesday through Friday at 9 AM!
Mini Mudsock (Ages 5-6) swims Tuesday and Thursday 11-11:50
Mega Mudsock (Ages 7-8) swims Monday and Friday 1-1:50
THE Mudsock (ages 9-11) swims Tuesday and Friday 2-2:50
Enrichment swims Monday and Wednesday 12-12:50
Teen Camp swims everyday from 1-2 in the outdoor pool
LIT/ CIT- swims Thursday from 2-3 in the outdoor pool
Drop off and Pick Up
- Drop off starts at 6:30 AM at the back entrance (old Teen Center)
- A Picture ID is REQUIRED by ANYONE who is picking up your child
- Your child may not be picked up by anyone who is not on the pickup list
- The person who registered the child for camp is the ONLY person who can make pickup changes
- Your child must be picked up by 6 PM or you will be charged $1 per minute for every child and minute after 6 PM

Mega Mudsock Cookout is on Thursday
THE Mudsock Cookout is on Wednesday
Be on the watch for notes home about what food supplies may be needed! :)

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)- Director Mallory
Hello Mudsock families! We are going to have a blast at our STEM (Science Technology Engineering & Math) rotations this Summer! This week we will be making quicksand, chromatography butterflies, playing Add It Up, and working as a team to make boats from recycled materials that will float! I can't wait to meet you all this week!

Arts and Crafts- Director Ashlee
For our first week of camp, we will be getting to know our wonderful campers and what they enjoy about arts & crafts. We will start by making name place cards so our counselors and easily learn their names and it will be placed with their future crafts for easier pick up. We will also be making a favorite summer time drink….Lemonade cups.

Literacy- Director Ashlee
This summer your campers will be enjoying a Literacy rotation called Miss Ashlee’s Corner. Your campers will be enjoy everything there is about Literacy and also be learning as well. The first week, we will be answering a variety of “I Wonder” Questions and also play “2 Truths and a Lie”.

Outdoor Education- Director Dean
This week we are learning all about the wildlife that is in our community. Campers will search for animal tracks, find and identify birds, as well as finding different amphibious animals that might be living in our creek such as crawdads and frogs/toads. We cannot wait to help your child learn about the animals in the outdoors!

Teen Camp- Director Marsha
Welcome to week 1 of Teen Camp! We have lots of fun traditional camp activities planned like swimming every day at the outdoor pool, archery, cooking, arts and crafts, science, and outdoor games. In addition we walk to Holland Park on Tuesday and Thursday to play sports and go on our 1st field trip of the summer to walk along the downtown canal and have lunch at Circle Center mall. If time permits the campers will be allowed to shop a bit too. A camp counselor will be with the campers at all times. Please make sure the Field Trip Permission is signed prior to Wednesday, June 3rd (day of trip).

Enrichment- Track and Field - Director Liz
Welcome to the Camp! This week we will be learning all about track and field. We will be doing a lot of physical activity this week so it is especially important to bring a water bottle to camp every day. We will be learning proper stretching and running techniques, competing in a variety of track & field activities, and doing team building activities. I am looking forward to a great week of camp.
