1,2,3 Read! Let's Read This Summer!
It's hard to believe that summer is here! It has been a rewarding year in the library. The students are amazing and love learning. I know the learning will continue this summer. Many families have inquired about summer reading. Paper copies of the summer reading lists and a suggested bingo reading game were recently sent home. Mary Harty, the librarian from the Barrington Public Library visited our school to promote the library reading program last Thursday. I am hoping many Nayatt readers join the summer reading program at the library. Students are encouraged to visit the library to get their very own library cards! Many students have told me this week that they have already made a visit to the library to get their library cards.
You can also visit the BPS Summer reading link for additional resources. I have included the link below. The link is on the BPS site under "student/parent resources." The link is also on our Nayatt library page.
I hope all Nayatt readers enjoy some wonderful books in between camps, swimming, beach and adventures. I encourage students to join the program at the library. Readers should select books that they enjoy reading. Keep it fun!
Happy Reading Everyone!
