HEADLINE NEWS: The annual Barclay Spring Fair is THIS Saturday, April 5th from 11:00-2:00. Don’t miss out on this fun-filled opportunity to play a lot of games, win cakes, eat some of the best chili east of the Mississippi, and in general just have fun with Barclay kids, staff, and parents. Even if your child has a baseball/softball/ soccer game that day, just swing by for an hour-you can grab lunch while you’re here!

Gift Basket Auction at the spring fair
Maybe you will be one of the lucky ones...
Remember, the “Spring Into Giving” Barclay Art Gala will take place on Tuesday, April 29th. We are still looking for handmade donations and/or business gift certificates to auction off at our silent auction the evening of the event. Do you make jewelry or handbags? Do you knit or sew? Do you have your own business and are willing to donate a product or gift certificate? The deadline for silent auction submissions is April 21st. Please send any items to room 415 labeled with the artist’s or business’ name and a brief description of the product. Contact Ashley Cumberland or Pat Cassidy with any questions. Thank you for your support!
The Barclay Art Gala only comes around once every three years. As such, I (selfishly) expect every student to come out and participate, dressed in their best. Barclay started this six years ago and have had two, TREMENDOUSLY SUCCESSFUL galas in which the school community turned out in force to support the arts at Barclay and also contribute to excellent causes. Proceeds from this year’s effort will go toward supporting the Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund. The Fund helps local families who are struggling financially due to their children suffering from life-changing, medical conditions. In addition, due to the untimely passing of Barclay’s art teacher, Kristen Newfield, we will be giving a gift to the family to help them in this time of need.
