What's Fun For Week One!
What a fabulous week for SIG at Stuart. We hope your children had as much fun as we had this week! Students created cells in Biology of Me, learned about design and functionality in Architectural Solutions, acted out behaviors and instincts of animals in Koalas, Kangaroos, and Crocodiles, and prepared for debates using the Middle School Debate Model in What is Your Point? (Just to name a few!) Fun activities and engaging lessons are happening all around us! We are excited for week two and all the new discoveries just around the corner! Next week will be filled with creativity and innovation as we introduce our enrichment project and themed week, "Footsteps Towards the Future". Students will find out, on Monday, that they have the opportunity to continue their summer enrichment by brainstorming and creating an invention at home. Their wonderful inventions will be due on Friday, and we will have a showcase for all students to show their creativity in action! Students also have the opportunity to dress as their favorite inventor on Friday. Enrichment projects are optional and students do not have to complete them. However, we do recommend the students try the project to continue learning and to promote individual growth outside of camp. Details about the enrichment project will be sent home with your child on Monday in paper form and sent to all parents in email. Have a great weekend!

A man lives on the twelfth floor of an apartment building. Every morning he takes the elevator down to the lobby and leaves the building. In the evening, he gets into the elevator, and, if there is someone else in the elevator -- or if it was raining that day -- he goes back to his floor directly. Otherwise, he goes to the tenth floor and walks up two flights of stairs to his apartment. Why?
