Claires Court Bulletin

As the variety and quality of apprenticeships is improving all the time more students are deciding to apply for these as a viable alternative to university. All our Year 12 and 13 students are encouraged to attend the presentation we have arranged for them by QA Apprenticeships who offer local and national opportunities. This talk will take place in the Chapel from 3.30 - 4.15 pm on Tuesday 27 January. There will be time to ask questions at the end. Parents are welcome to attend, just email me if you would like to come.

Mrs Rogers

The timetable for the mock GCE exams from 23 - 26 February, is now on the noticeboard and students should make a note in their planners of the times of all their exams.

A draft timetable for the Summer GCE exams has also been posted so that students can plan ahead - and parents too!

A superb total of around £350 has been raised in sponsorship by our wonderful swimmers. WELL DONE to you all.

For students interested in apprenticeships and/or employment there are two Jobs Fairs coming up in February. There is one at Heathrow Airport on February 10 especially related to jobs in the aviation and airport industries, and a more general fair run by Bracknell College on 19 February. If you are interested in visiting either of these see Mrs Rogers who will give you more details.
