Orientation Day for 6th and 7th Grade - 9/3
The first student day for sixth and seventh grade students is on Friday, September 3rd. School
doors at Armstrong open at 8:00 a.m., and dismissal time is at 12:30 p.m. Busing will be
provided. Lunch will not be provided.
Sixth grade students will report to the Gymnasium and then be escorted to their homerooms.
Seventh grade students will report to the Cafeteria and then be escorted to their homerooms.
During homeroom, your child will learn school procedures and receive School Wide Behavior Support Training. During School Wide Behavior Support Training your child will review the hallway, cafeteria, emergency procedures, 1-1 devices, fire drill procedures, bus and assembly behavior expectations.

Student Drop Off and Pick Up Instructions
Walkers: will enter and exit through the front of the building. There will be no vehicular traffic permitted in the main parking lot.
All buses and vans: will drop-off and dismiss through the main parking lot.
Car Riders (Arrival): During arrival, car riders will drop-off on the left hand side at the end of the main drive. In the morning, cars should drop off students at the end of the long drive by the walkway that leads to the building near the softball field. Please do not park and/or exit the vehicles in the main parking lot. Students are not permitted in the main parking lot during arrival and dismissal times.
Car Riders (Dismissal): At afternoon dismissal, cars will need to loop around at the end of the drive wait for the student(s). Cars should park on the soft ball field side of the driveway. Please do not park in the driveway or on the fields. Students are not permitted in the main parking lot during arrival and dismissal times.
Other Important Information for Parents and Guardians
When possible, please avoid scheduling appointments for your child during the school day or at a time requiring an early dismissal for your child. A note from the appropriate doctor confirming medical appointments requiring your child to miss school time should be sent to the homeroom teacher after the visit.
If an early dismissal is unavoidable, please provide a note to your child's teacher to alert him/her of your intent to call for your child early. If needed please provide your child with a note or call the building for the required time needed for dismissal. The office staff will provide your child with a pass to come to the office at the required time.
Early dismissals requested for the convenience of parents/guardians are not considered "Excused" and will be counted as "Unexcused" according to District policy.

Students must have a complete physical to tryout. Click here to the complete the Family ID required portion for the physical.
PHYSICALS will be offered at Armstrong for $10 on September 13. Please complete the Family ID portion and send your child to school with $10 on that day.

1. Log on to the Infinite Campus Portal (If you are having trouble logging in, please contact your child’s school.)
2. Select “More” on the right side of the menu bar.
3.Select “Family Information.”
4.Click the “Update” button for each of the PARENTS/GUARDIANS ONLY and edit the phone numbers and/or email address fields.
5.Click the blue “Update” button to save changes.
