Our Lady of Fatima Palmyra is a Catholic School that aspires to
provide a respectful, secure and caring learning environment
where our community is committed to following
the teachings of Jesus.
From the Principal
Dear Parents
A definite highlight for our community over the past fortnight was the Monte Carlo evening organised by our P&F. It was great to see so many people from our community enjoying each other’s company, enjoying some fun activities and raising money for our school community too. Enormous thanks to a band of very committed and hardworking people on our P&F for their contributions towards organising the evening, particularly Kerri Jondahl for coordinating the night. The money raised will be going towards the new Audio-Visual equipment and sound system which will be installed in our new school hall - an addition that everyone will benefit from. Huge thanks to the P&F for their continued support.
Family Intentions to Return for 2020
It is this time of the year that we begin our planning for 2020. If there are any families who are not returning to our school in 2020, if they could please formally let us know (via email is fine) by the end of Term 3 to assist us in our planning for next year. We currently have a number of families on waitlists in different year levels in the lower part of our school who are hoping to secure a spot for next year.
Best wishes for the coming fortnight.

Fathers Day Breakfast
In what has become a wonderful tradition at our school, our annual Father’s Day breakfast back on Thursday 29th August at 7:45am was a great success. Over 250 bacon rolls were consumed, many coffees and lots of children took advantage of a hot milo prepared by our P&F. It was also great to see so many parents join us for the Father’s Day Mass in the Church, following the breakfast, led by our Pre-Primary children.
Enormous thanks to the mothers who assisted in catering for the fathers on their special day. Many fathers of our year 2 cohort proudly wore their tie-dyed shirts, a gift from their children, as shown in the photo above.
