Standout Student

Once again, we are looking for another student to recommend for Liberty's standout student. If you know of someone you would like us to consider, please email their first and last name to Michelle. Students will be placed into a drawing to be randomly selected. Our last standout student was David L. from Mrs. Leach's class, which should be published in the paper soon. Michelle will also send an email out to follow up with this request.

Trimester Feedback

As you know, our district is proposing making the change from quarters to trimesters. Dave Snyder recently sent an email for teachers and certified staff to provide feedback in a Google form. Here is the link in case you missed it. Trimester Survey

Before School Daycare

Don't forget, childcare will begin being offered before school for students starting on January 19th.

District Updates

1. Plans are still in place to move forward with full day kindergarten. There is still a lot of work ahead, so plans are not finalized just yet.

2. Bids are once again out for student transportation bus companies for next year

3. Per the county, any rooms that house a hot water heater or furness can't be used for storage because of safety. With that being said, we will be limited on storage space at Liberty. If you have items you no longer use, consider doing a spring cleaning!

4. Jr. High is looking towards moving to a double language arts block.

5. Training will continue for our learning standards in science. K-5 buildings are also looking to update to Envision 2.0 for math. More information to come.
