Mrs. Greene's 3rd Grade

Back to Normal...
THANK YOU SO MUCH for a wonderful week of Teacher Appreciation! I sure felt loved and appreciated! Your kids mean so much to me and it way a joy for me to see the smiles on their faces as they brought me sweet notes and treats all week!
A week of "normalcy" sure felt good! We were back to our normal structure and routines with no ISTEP or field trips. We accomplished much and will continue to do so until May 24!

Speaking of ISTEP, you will receive the results of your child's test early next fall.
It's BASEBALL season!

Thoughts From Third Graders
I put a GOOGLE FORM on Canvas for each student to, anonymously, complete. The form asks questions about their experience in 3rd Grade. We discussed how I, as their teacher, am always growing and learning. I want to get better, so their honest, respectful thoughts and comments about their 3rd Grade experience is valuable for me. Here are some of the responses I received... I will add a few comments from the students in the last few newsletters. Here are a few...
1. "Ethan will always be a special memory for me."
2. "I think we should have more recess time."
3. "I am a much better writer than I was last year."
4. "You make school fun."
5. "One of my favorite memories is when it snowed for the first time and you let us go
outside without our coats on and run for one minute."
6. "I think more people should be allowed at the Word Study station during Daily 5."
Aren't these comments precious?
