Weather Map
A weather map is a map showing the state of the weather over a large area. The first weather was made by collecting weather reports by mail. In 1816 a German physicist Heinrich Wilhelm Brandes made the first weather maps that were hand drawn and made from data collected in 1783.
Why are weather maps useful?
Weather maps are useful to people everyday because people plan out their day so if it raining they will stay inside but if it is nice out they might go to a park. Weather maps are extremely useful to the field of science because they show what the weather conditions are going to be like in a certain place and show which way a hurricane may travel so they can broadcast it on television so people in that area can plan for that day or even the rest of the week.
