An arthropod is an invertebrate animal having an exoskeleton, a segmented body, and jointed limbs with a bilateral symmetry. Arthropods are cold blooded and consist of insects, crustaceans, and many others.

Some examples of arthropods are Antarctic Krill, Balanus Barnacles, and the Emperor Skorpion
