Thomas Jefferson built his home in Charlottesville, Virginia. Jefferson inherited thousands of acres of land from family. He built the Monticello on his favorite hill the Monticello meaning Little Mountain in Italian. The Monticello appears on the other side of the nickel.

Jefferson claims to have known six languages. He can read Greek, Latin, French, Italian, Spanish, and English. He can speak many languages, here are a few English, French, Italian, and Latin

Jefferson was also an architect. He designed his home, his retreat, and designed for the University of Virginia
