Raider Update
A Weekly eNewsletter from Hastings Public Schools
Message from the Superintendent
Good afternoon Raider Families,
Tuesday marks another big day for us, as we bring back grades 6-9 and 12 into Hybrid learning. As long as we continue to trend downward with our numbers, we will welcome 10th and 11th graders on March 1st. We had another milestone this past week, in that we received over 300 vaccine allocations for staff. This means that we should have a significant amount of our staff vaccinated by the time we reach spring break. It continues to be very important that everyone is doing their part to minimize the spread of COVID. Please do not send your child to school if they have symptoms. Continue to practice good hygiene at home, follow social distancing protocols, and get tested every couple of weeks, if you can. Keeping kids in school is a community effort, and it takes all of us. To that end, thank you for how much you continue to do to support our students and staff!
Bob McDowell, Ed.D.
