Superintendent's Weekly Update
9/23/2022
December 16, 2022
Dear Weymouth Public Schools' Community,
It's been a busy week and a very merry month around the district. We'll keep this week's update brief, and hope you'll be able to take a moment to scroll down and check out some of the holiday fun.
Announcements & Reminders:
- As a reminder, there is no school Monday, December 26 - Friday, December 30 (corrected date) for Winter Break, and no school on Monday, January 2 (New Year's Day Observed).
- There is a district-wide half day on Tuesday, January 10 for Staff Development.
- Families are welcome and encouraged to attend the Tuesday, January 10 Town-Wide Parent Council meeting at 7PM in the Humanities Center at WHS. I look forward to attending and collecting feedback from families as part of our district strategic plan.
Lastly, I would like to extend one more round of applause to all the WPS students and staff members who made last night's "You Can't Have Community Without Unity" event a huge success and a tremendous display of talent!
Have a great weekend, and we'll see you on Monday.
Best Regards,
Robert Wargo
Superintendent
