There are so many ways to do this and I am going to highlight some leaders and the tips I have heard through the years. This business is FUN.

One of my favorite things i have heard at hoopla is... we are in business FOR OURSELVES but NOT BY OURSELVES!
This business is YOURS! Build it and have fun with it!!

RACHEL SCHWEMMER- DIRECTOR PA
Rachel spends time reaching out to her customers and hostesses on a personal level a couple time of years or when she sees that they are doing something fun or new. Great example.. she just reached out to a customer who had moved to Florida. She did not mention s&d... just asked how the move was etc. Well it turned into a conversation about stella and dot and she got a great order and a possible new stylist bc the customer had a new neighbor who might be interested in the opportunity.
KATE STINES- STAR STYLIST SC
Don't let the Month get by without "picking up the phone" and calling for grad gifts, birthdays, a new summer look, whatever. I have been soooo busy with life that I only have 2 Shows this Month. No worries, bc I have reached out and gotten over $500 in extra orders just as of yesterday. Take a step forward today and reach out! You never know what will happen I'm excited about that extra $150 for me for doing so!....
words to say....
I've reached out to other "busy" friends and just causally said "I'm doing Orders tonight, can I add you for any gifts? Don't forget Teachers, Grad, BD" Then I show or text Mon. Sp. Just 1 order was $130 & she was so thankful I reached out bc she had forgotten all she needed to get (that was 4 gifts & the classic for her!)
CAROLINE HESTER- SENIOR DIRECTOR GA
Caroline is the QUEEN of personal shopping appointments... reaching out for helps with gifts. She had a woman come over last week and she spent over $700!! Caroline has a home office and ALWAYS has her jewelry set up and ready to go AND she makes sure that everyone KNOWS that she has it set up and ready to go! She is the GO TO for gifts in her town!

Invite ALL brides you know over for personal shopping appointments... tell them to bring their mothers, outfits and friends! Treat yourself like a bridal salon and make it fun! Champagne...anyone???

GO SHOPPING... put on your cutest outfit and your favorite necklace and bag...
TALK TO PEOPLE... when the sales person asks if you need HELP... say YES... tell her all about your need for simple clothes to SHOWCASE your jewelry... (do you realize how much people in retail make... NOT MUCH... I am sure she would love to know how she can earn free jewelry and 30% of everything she sells on her own time!)
Have your mini look books ready to hand to anyone who compliments you!

Offer to help with gifts, wrapping and delivery!
Reach out to old friends on FB... check out their jewelry and compliment them on their style!

Get a sitter for your kids.
Work Smart.
So you have had two friends tell you that they were invited to shows last week.
SO WHAT... do you think that JCREW cares when people shop at Banana Republic. NO!
They spend their time thinking about they can be better each day, offer amazing product, treat the customers they do have right and just know that if they keep focusing on how they can be the best in the business the customers will come! Set yourself apart, offer exceptional customer service, and genuinely be excited about our company and our gorgeous line of jewelry, bags and scarves!
Be happy when people tell you they have been invited to a show or know someone who is a stylist. I always ask who it is and tell them I will make sure to let them know I met their friend.
Did you know that s&d has done TONS of research and the areas (HOUSTON) that we have the BIGGEST concentration of stylists also has the HIGHEST trunk show average? It is because they are familiar with our brand and know that we have the best company!
Be happy that we are building brand awareness and more people are hearing about us... that is WHAT WE WANT!
