AISM Newsletter September 2023

Director's Message

Dear AISM Community,

As we make our way into the routines of September and the rainy season of Liberia that tends to keep us inside more than we would like; it's a perfect time to reflect on goals for ourselves and our students. We know that consistency is the cornerstone of progress therefore by embracing a daily regimen that provides structure, we can create a space where students thrive. By beginning each day with a morning routine that includes a hearty breakfast and a positive mindset to start each day, to setting aside dedicated time for homework and study, we are creating the village that it takes to raise a child.

Let's encourage our students to define their goals with small daily steps that build good habits. Our dedicated teachers are here to guide and inspire our students every step of the way. By fostering a growth mindset we can empower our students to take ownership of their personal learning journey. In the coming weeks, you can look forward to After School Activities ASA's beginning which will be an opportunity for students to grow and explore extra curricula activities outside the classroom.

Stay tuned for more announcements and participate in activities, to make the most out of what AISM has to offer. As we go through the rainy season here in Liberia let’s remember all the good things that come from the rain. Thank you for your continued support of AISM.

Kind regards,

Dr.Bobbi

We are practicing Safety Drills with our students that the RSO's office has observed and given feedback about. One other way we are practicing safety is to establish an AISM Parents WhatsApp group. We will use this group to send schoolwide messages, reminders and in case of an emergency.
