ATTENDANCE WORKS
Vasquez High School is constantly working to develop a variety of approaches, strategies and tools to help decrease chronic absences within our school.
DID YOU KNOW? • Absences can be a sign that a teen is losing interest, struggling with school work, dealing with a bully or facing some other difficulty. • By 6th grade, absenteeism is one of three signs that a student may drop out of high school. • Missing 10% (just 2 days each month) can drastically affect a student’s academic success. • Attendance is an important life skill that will help your teen keep a job and graduate from college.
SPECTACULAR SENIOR SECTION
SENIOR TRIBUTES
"Senior Parents, are you looking for a holiday gift that will last a lifetime? Are the holidays bringing back memories of when your child was small and you can see how much time has flown? Why not purchase a tribute for your senior that will show them just how proud you are, and let them know for a lifetime! The yearbook is extending the deadline for purchasing senior tributes until January 18th. Senior tributes need to be purchased online at www.yearbookforever.com where you will search for the Vasquez store, select buy a personal ad, and then follow the prompts to upload the photos and text you want for the tribute and pay all in one go. The yearbook staff will take care of designing the page and we will send you a proof for approval after it is completed.
Space is limited with 8 and 1/4 pages of space remaining for tributes.
If you have any questions, issues with the site, or would like to purchase through the school with a payment plan please email Mrs. Stilwell at awinokur@aadusd.k12.ca.us"
