A Note From Mrs. (Hill) Cameron

Dear Starr Families:

I hope everyone has a great Winter Break! Students will return in-person on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. Students will participate in an ELearning day on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. Please log into Canvas or check student folders for information from teachers for this day. CLICK HERE for an ELearning FAQ sheet.

Parent Survey: Many thanks to everyone who completed the Title I Parent Survey earlier this semester. We received lots of feedback from families wanting to know more about what students are learning. CLICK HERE to view what is coming up on curriculum maps at each grade level. High priority standards have been identified on the link, and will be taught during core instruction.

Attendance Goal: As a school, our monthly attendance goal is 95%. For December, our attendance average was 91%. This is a 3% increase from November. CLICK HERE to view Richmond Community Schools' Attendance Policy taken directly from the Uniform Code of Student Conduct. It's essential for students to be at school and on time when they are not sick. If students are sick, please call us and let us know why the student will be out.

Lexia/Dreambox: Please don't forget your student has the opportunity to practice at home, every day with Lexia and Dreambox. You may access both through the Clever portal by CLICKING HERE. If your student needs their username and password, please contact their teacher.
