The Riverwood Review

3rd Edition - 2022-2023 School Year!

A Message from Principal Smith

Dear Riverwood Families,

It's hard to believe that we have already been back in school for three weeks. It has been a wonderful start to the school year.

I enjoyed seeing many of you on our virtual parent nights this week. If you missed them, the recordings will soon be on the homepage of the website. I encourage you to listen to them, as they contain a lot of grade-specific information for you and your student.

On September 14th at 6:30pm, Riverwood will host an Open House for the 2022-2023 school year. Parents, you will have the opportunity to walk your student’s schedule, meet his/ her teachers and explore our amazing school.

Tuesday, September 6 is a remote learning day for students and a professional development day for our teachers. Students will not report to school that day and are expected to work from home. Tuesday is an A day so students should access their class Microsoft Team accounts to complete all A-day work. The work does not have to be completed at the exact time of their assigned class.

I hope you enjoy the weekend with your family and friends. As always, stay safe!

Best Regards,

Kindra L. Smith, Ed.S.
