AMS Art at the Ashland Library!
Art students have a piece on display at the Ashland Library! It will be up for about two weeks, so be sure to check it out! Thanks so much to my student teacher, Jarrett Davidson for initiating this installation and hanging it! We had a history lesson around Dia de los Muertos, the Mexican holiday of Day of the Dead. Kids created mirror-image calaveras (skulls). Also, we are setting up a small Ofrenda (offering) area at the library. So if you go look at the exhibit, you could take a photo or an offering for a loved one who has died, if you wish.
Boys & Girls Basketball Uniform Fundraiser
Help AMS replace our outdated basketball uniforms. We have approximately 120 students that participate in girls and boys basketball each year and we are in desperate need of new uniforms.
This summer we got a head start raising funds by participating in a golf tournament that the Rogue Valley Referee Association held, which resulted in raising $3,150.00. We need your help with the remaining $7,650.00.
