The Ingram Insider
Family Edition, February 2023
Ingram Family,
We have been focusing on "the power our words have" during our social and emotional lessons at school.
You can help us at home by:
1. Emphasizing the results of positive words.
2. Brainstorm positive words about a family member and put them on paper.
3. Model the power of positive words.
4. Use positive words to build an acronym of your child's name.
5. Talk with your child about the words they use in games (shoot, kill) and how those are not appropriate at school.
6. Ask them about the challenge they were given at school and who they spoke 5 kind words to.
Here is a read aloud that was made for one of our social emotional lessons. Feel free to sit down and watch with your kiddo. Link

Attendance
Class Attendance Reward
Each class is spelling out PERFECT ATTENDANCE on the board in their classroom. A letter is earned when all students are present in the classroom for the day. This will continue for the remainder of the school year.
Congratulations to Miss Babovec, Mrs. Ramirez, Mr. Forkner and Ms. Callaway for spelling PERFECT ATTENDANCE this month!
