November Happenings - Signs of Suicide

The counseling team will be presenting Signs of Suicide (SOS) to all 9th grade Health, Personal Fitness, and JROTC classes the week of November 8. Suicide is one of the leading causes of death for high school students and the NFHS Counseling Team has implemented this program to help students recognize the warning signs of suicide in themselves and others. For more information about warning signs, useful resources, and some of the messages students will receive, please see more information here: www.sossignsofsuicide.org/parent. A letter regarding this program was sent to 9th grade families this week.

Please see our Financial Aid Resources newsletter for more help with that process. We highly encourage you to look at booking a free consultation with Marcus for support on your FAFSA process!
