We're Skating into the New Year!
Some exciting news on the BJAMS front: we're getting a skating rink! Coach Buczek has secured every last cent to bring this exciting winter opportunity to the students of our school. The proceeds from last year's Golf Tournament, coupled with two generous gifts from the BJAMS PTO and an anonymous family, will provide our students with another winter activity for PE. We are so grateful for the incredible support of our BJAMS community!

XC Skiing Update (grades 3-8)
Hi everyone,
It’s XC ski time! If you have your own equipment, please bring it to the multipurpose room once you arrive at school in the morning. Students who do not have their own equipment will use school equipment. Questions? Email me at bbuczek@bjams.org.

Re-Enrollment News!
We will open re-enrollment for CURRENT students on January 29; contracts will go home with students next Friday. We will open enrollment for new students on March 1. Many classes are at or near capacity - be sure to reserve your spot! Questions? Please email Jennifer Nordenson at

School Choice: a notice to parents of 8th graders
What is School Choice? In 2012, a new law was passed allowing Vermont's students to apply to attend any public high school in grades 9-12. Before then, a student could only attend the public school in the region where they lived.
Parents who reside in Morristown and Elmore can expect a letter and application in the mail shortly after Jan. 22, 2021. Your contact is sheila.jones@lsuu.org.
Parents in all other towns or school districts: Please contact your local public high school for your program contact, information, and application deadline.
