Tennyson High School
Parent Newsletter- December Edition
A Message From Our Administration Team:
Dear THS Community,
As we prepare for our Winter Break, please remind your child to check in with their teachers for any missing assignments as our first semester ends on January 27, 2022.
We would also like to remind you that when Tennyson hosts indoor activities spectators need to wear masks.
Another reminder would be that Several Cal State Schools are still accepting applications through December 15th, 2021. Please contact the career center if you are interested in applying.
This school year has been unlike any other. We appreciate your participation in your child’s education and our parent meetings throughout the school year. We wish you the Happiest of Holidays to enjoy with your families. We look forward to working with you in the New Year!

HUSD COVID-19 Vaccination Mandate
As you may have already heard, The HUSD School Board approved a resolution to mandate student vaccines for students ages 12 and older. Students must be fully vaccinated (two doses) by December 17, 2021 or submit to weekly testing. The mandate represents an opportunity to prevent in-school transmission and keep students in class. For testing and vaccination locations, please see the following:
If you have not done so already, please send a picture of your vaccine card to Ms. Blackburn (lblackbu@husd.k12.ca.us ) or Ms. Lupe Navarro (gn108@husd.k12.ca.us ) as soon as possible. Submitting proof of your student's vaccination status will prevent them from missing instructional time if they are exposed to COVID at school.
