Principal's Update
We had a great first full week of school!
Ala Carte lunch options will be starting next week. If students would like to purchase items from the Ala Carte menu, they must have their ID with money on their card to pay for the items they are purchasing.You can add money to their ID by sending a cash or check to school or by using MySchoolBucks.
Next week we also have Fastbridge testing. Please make sure your child has a pair of headphones and their Chromebook is fully charged.
Don't forget - Monday is Picture Day! Bring those smiles!

Cross Country
On Wednesday, the Cross Country team competed in a four-team meet held at Homer Junior High. The boys won while the girls were third. Boys who were the top three fisnihers in the 2-mile race were Jonah Brownlee, Henry Eissing, and Zane Szynkowski. Madison Lewis finished second in the girls one-mile race. The team next competes at the Beecher Invite this Saturday.
Softball News
The girls softball team beat Liberty on Wednesday, 4-1. Anna Lundstedt had a great game on the mound striking out 11. The girls put a rally together in the 7th inning with a lead off single by Rowan Mcarter, followed by another single from Katie Peetz. Evenly Ingram followed with a 2 run double and eventually scored on a nice sacrifice hit from Alexis Sarazin.
The girls are now 11-2. Great job!
Baseball - 5-Hit Day for Winge Leads Oak Prairie Junior High Bulldogs Past Lukancic
Austin Winge came to ballpark and meant business on Thursday, tallying five hits and leading Oak Prairie to a 15-5 win over Lukancic. Winge singled in the first, singled in the third, singled in the fourth, singled in the fifth, and singled in the seventh.
The Bulldogs took the lead for good with four runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Winge singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run and Easton Eggert singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring three runs.
OP tallied six runs in the fifth inning. Kyle Mezyk, Noah Beltran, Dylan Jones, and Eggert all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
Frank Covelli was the winning pitcher for Oak Prairie Junior High Bulldogs. Covelli allowed two hits and one run over six innings, striking out eight and walking zero.
