News from the Office
Dear Poupard Families,
I can hardly believe we only have 6 more weeks of school left. This school year is truly flying by! At Poupard some of us are already starting to think about the 18/19 school year and I'm sure some families are as well. Soon, I'll be providing an opportunity for families to share information about what classroom setting they believe their learner will benefit from the most for this following school year. Please note, this is not a teacher request form and should only provide information about your child's learning needs.
Also, we have prepared our school supply lists for the 18/19 school year. Families may purchase school supplies online this year through Edukit and they will be delivered to Poupard prior to the school year starting. We hope this will prevent families from spending hours shopping at the store and waiting in long lines in August! More information is available by clicking here.
Recently every student at Poupard got a green Poupard Dragons shirt. One of the new traditions I'd like to start here at Poupard is a weekly school spirit day. We're strongly encouraging students to wear their green Poupard Dragons shirt each and every Friday! Let's help our learners be proactive by getting their laundry done earlier in the week and having those shirts ready by Friday.
Thanks for continuing to partner with Poupard in your child's learning!

Bottle Drive at Poupard: Our Poupard Green Team is starting to collect empty pop bottles and cans that you may have piling up at home. The Green Team is planning on using the donations to purchase water bottle dispensers for our school. We have two spots students and families can donate their cans towards our cause, one near the office and another on the second floor. It's time to clean out that garage and deposit your bagged returnables and know that you are helping Poupard to raise funds that will enhance our kids’ school experience. Thank you so much for your support!

Habit number 2 is Begin with the End in Mind. This habit encompasses goal setting. As we are nearing the end of this school year, many students are thinking about what will inspire them for the tomorrow as well as the next school year. Set goals, and also come up with at least three actions that will help you and your student reach those goals.
