Our Mission

“Everton Elementary School, with the support of a community that values education, effectively utilizes all resources to insure a safe, harmonious atmosphere where all students learn essential skills, are challenged to reach their potential, and are motivated to become creative, lifelong learners and healthy, responsible citizens.”

What a Great Start!

This has been an absolutely great first week of school! I love having students in the classrooms again at Everton. Meeting our new students has been a joy! I have also spent time with our returning students, and hearing about how they spent their summer. We have some really terrific students here at Everton.

I also want to share that we have a top notch group of adults here at Everton who have been working diligently to make sure our students have everything they need to make learning successful. There is so much that goes into educating children. Let's remember that educating our students takes all of us working together. I encourage parents to maintain open communication with their child's teacher. We all have the same goal. We want children to be successful.

We Need Your Help with Student Pick Up

We have more car riding students at dismissal than we have ever had in the past. This is causing some traffic congestion even on State Road 1. The fire station has also been blocked. We definitely can't impede our community's emergency personnel from responding to someone in need of help. The Fayette County Sheriff's Department and Everton Volunteer Fire Department have been asked to help us with our dismissal. Starting on Monday, August 16, we ask parents picking up a student to follow the map below to help ease the traffic congestion. It may require parents to go around the block of County Road 260 East and North Street. Your help and understanding with student pick up is very much appreciated!
