Minute by Minute News
Wolf Ridge Minutemen & Minutemaids News for November 6-10
Wolf Ridge Students & Families,
We will be honoring our Veterans throughout this next week in different ways across our district. Teaching students the importance of recognizing the contributions and sacrifices of our Veterans and their families is very important. Please see below for more information about events taking place.
Students will be dismissed early on Friday, November 10th at 12:30PM. Students in grades 3-7 will be able to participate in multi-disciplinary, multi-grade learning projects on this day based around topics that they got to vote on themselves. Students will not want to miss this exciting day of learning! I can't wait for you to ask your child, "What did you learn today?"

Early Dismissal on November 10th
3rd-7th Grade Students will be Participating in PBL Day
There will be an early dismissal on November 10th at 12:30. We are trying something really neat and new for 3rd-7th grade students on this day. Students will get the opportunity to select from 13 different topics to learn about on this day. Each 3rd-7th grade teacher has planned a project based learning experience for our students to learn all about a topic that interests them. Students will take part in questioning, research and innovation for a final project to demonstrate what they learned. This will take place from 8:30-10:30 with us all meeting back in the gym at 10:30 to share what each group learned. If it all goes well, we might do it again for another half-day. Your child will not want to miss this learning experience!
