Hello Sundance Families!
We kicked off the month of June celebrating our different types of families including our LGBTQ community. If interested, Click here to access an optional special read aloud loom recording featuring the story, A Family is a Family is a Family. Thank you for supporting our goal of creating an inclusive school culture at Sundance. It was such an honor to recognize our incredible volunteers at our event this morning. Thank you for serving on our Foundation, PAC, DAC, DELAC, after school committees and clubs, and as room parents. Sundance is such a special place because of our staff, community, and students.
As we wrap up the end of the year, I'd congratulate the following staff members on new positions and new places!
Mrs. Hinchman, 4th grade teacher, is returning to middle school and has accepted a 7th grade position. We will miss her greatly and hope to continue collaborating with her!
Mrs. Rosales, 2nd grade teacher, has accepted our Impact Teacher position which is aligned to her 7 years as site impact teacher. We are very excited for Mrs. Rosales to serve students in 2nd-5th grade and remain at Sundance!
Ms. Baer, NSH Preschool Teacher, has accepted a preschool position in San Diego Unified. Congratulations!
Mrs. Levenson, 4th grade teacher, and Mrs. Hough, RSP Teacher, retired this year. We wish them the best in their future endeavors!
I will continue to keep you updated as we welcome more staff to our amazing school.

To our Amazing Room Parents….
THANK YOU for all your hard work and dedication to volunteer as a ROOM PARENT for your child's class this year. As a parent, I know we are all so busy, juggling many aspects of our own lives, and I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate each and every one of you for all the time you took out of your day to help out in the classroom on site and at home from doing small groups, copy work, decorating doors, shopping for teacher gifts, and so much more! Please fill out the Room Parent Feedback Survey https://forms.gle/drKkPLbknFUASx93A so we can help plan and improve for the next school year.
